Poll: Pongsapat still leads race

Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen of the Pheu Thai Party continues to be voters' first choice in the March 3 Bangkok governor election, Suan Dusit Poll reported on Saturday.

Pollsters at Suan Dusit Rajabhat University said opinions were sought from 3,214 eligible voters in all 50 districts of Bangkok between Jan 26 and Jan 30.

Asked about the top five candidates the respondents would support, 41% chose Pol Gen Pongsapat and 36.12% picked his Democrat rival, former governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra.

If PT will gets total control over Bangkok...Thailand will become another Cambodia...totalitarian and no way out peacefully...democracy at it's worst ! NO FUTURE for the Kids unless they follow the rules : Pay your way up,forget about your abilities and knowledge,it does not work this way.Maybe Thais will loose many more educated young people asking for Visa elsewhere and will be left with the Daddy's sheeps..! Darker days to come ahead if it happens this way .

Hey, hold on. We have had many posters telling us 'Bangkokians will never forget who terrorized & burnt down their city!' Looks more like they will never forget who stole power by slipping through the back door of the barracks.

Bizarre when the PM has to tell her party's candidate to get realistic. But maybe his "unrealistic" proposals appeal to people.
