A Russian man was found dead hanging by his bootlaces in a hotel in Pattaya, police said.

Officers from Dong Tan responded to the Dragon Beach Resort when staff reported having found the guest dead in his bathroom.

Alexandre Ivanov, 55, was estimated to have died about three hours earlier after making a loop over the shower railing with a black bootlace.

Please also publish How many Thais died on suicides by jumping from the condos ????????????hehe!!

Doesn't sound at all right. After twenty years of traveling around Thailand, I am yet to see a shower railing in Thailand, in the best or worst of hotels, that would support the full weight of a small Thai let alone a ,presumably, much bigger Russian.
