Corpse found in crashed car

Drug suppression police found the corpse of a man in a car that had broken through a checkpoint in Nakhon Sawan and crashed into a tree on Saturday night, reports said.

The car driver who was chased and refused to stop was the wife of the dead man. The reports said the Mukdahan-registered car sped through a drug checkpoint on the Asian highway at Phayuha Khiri district of Nakhon Sawan despite being told to stop for a search.

Police took off after the car which skidded off the road and rammed into a tree at tambon Nong Pling in Muang district of Nakhon Sawan.
