Villager slain in Pattani

A villager was shot dead at his house late on Saturday night in Pattani's Yaring district, police said.

Pol Col Mana Nakthang, the Yaring police chief, identified the man as Lateh Awae, 56, of house No 79/1 at Ban Dan in tambon Tako Kapore.

His wife said Lateh was shot twice in the head. She went ahead and buried her husband at the Ban Dan Mosque without allowing police to conduct a post-mortem examination.

Another day another death in the south. Wonder if they plan to terrorise Bangkok next. It's there for the picking

It sounds like may be they should investigate the cause of death at he same time, seems outdated that you do not need a death certificate.
