Man dies in Klong Toey market fire

A man was killed in a fire that gutted a three-storey commercial building at Klong Toey market yesterday.

A man sifts through the charred wreckage of a three-storey building which was gutted by fire at Klong Toey market yesterday. The owner of the structure was killed in the fire. PATTANAPONG HIRUNARD

The man, who owned the building, was identified as Yongyuth Siwapinyo, 58.

    Often wonder if the next thing to electric short circuits if jossticks and religious candles are the main cause of fire in Thailand. I have often seen lit candles very close to curtains etc.
