Pongsapat: Cut commuting time 30%

Pheu Thai candidate for governor Pongsapat Pongcharoen has promised to help cut the time Bangkokians spend commuting to and from work during rush hours by 20-30%.

The Pheu Thai Party candidate, emphasising his party was the government party, announced two strategies to reach the target -- the extension of the transportation network to encourage more people to use public transport, and to increase the efficiency of traffic flow management.

Under his care, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) would create connectivity between the skytrain (BTS) and the underground train by building monorail, or light rail, services. He would support scrapping the construction of the planned expressway from Ngam Wong Wan to Prasertmanoonkit Road and replace it with a light railway.

    Why doesn't he promise hot air balloons which would soar over the traffic and go from high rise to high rise? That is about as likely to happen.

    Scrap the expressway plan and replace it with a light rail system? Where are all your 1st time buyers going to park their 1st time cars to get on this light rail system.
    PT Idiots!

    .

    In the past, The Boss Man himself promised," I will solve the Bangkok traffic issue within 6 months "

    Many moons have passed.

    Now the MEDIUM said, " I would reduce your time "

    Exorcist, please !

    The joke aside, I don't trust those who ;

    1. Burnt Bangkok
    2. Worsen Bangkok traffic
    3. Bullied citizen while in uniform

    I will " Just Say No " !

    How much is this going to cost the general tax payer and not just the Bangkok tax payer.

    That's right, because the Sky Train isnt at capacity already! And remind me again who started the 1st Car rebate sceme, which is apparently the reason why the streets are more clogged?
