Poll: Traffic is Job 1 for governor

Solving Bangkok's worsening traffic problem must be the priority of the capital's next governor, an Abac Poll survey has found.

Pollsters at Assumption University interviewed 3,631 eligible voters between Feb 8 and 15 about what they wanted from the March 3 gubernatorial election.

Asked what they would propose to city residents if they were running for election, 22.5% of the respondents said they would solve traffic jams, while 12.5% of them said they would solve the high cost of living.

Some sensible polling here seemingly, can't really understand why 8.2% want or expect there to be an even more over zealous drug tackling scheme than they have already. Some Education on how much money is available and what is do able would be better surely right.
Drug war is a waste of time and resources, traffic war however is a sensible place to start. and waste management, well that starts and finishes with education. Give it

Anti-Corruption should be “Job 1 for governor”
Let’s look at all the other problems: Would traffic flow better in Bangkok if the police wouldn’t be so corrupt?
Same with drugs: would they be available like now without corruption?
I am sure the garbage collection and other things would also work a lot better if city officials would not look the other way.
Fighting corruption should be the number 1 policy not just for Bangkok but for whole Thailand.
And back to the Bangkok election: What could be worse for a governor than an ex-cop who is the candidate of a party run by a fugitive criminal?
