Pheu Thai Party's Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen is far ahead of his main rival, MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra of the Democrat Party, in the latest survey by Abac Poll on possible results of the March 3 Bangkok governor election.

The pollster questioned 2,498 eligible voters between Feb 15-18, its fourth survey of the campaign.

The largest group of respondents, 46.6%, said they would vote for Pol Gen Pongsapat, up from 43.9% in the third survey; 29.9% said MR Sukhumbhand (down from 37.6%); and 10.5% said they would opt for independent runner Pol Gen Sereepisuth Temeeyawes (up from 10.4%).
