Diesel tax exemption extended

The cabinet has extend the term of the diesel excise tax reduction of 0.005 baht per litre for another month, until March 31, 2013, government spokesman Thossaporn Sereerak said on Tuesday.
The diesel excise tax reduction was set to end on Feb 28.
The tax waiver on the fuel is aimed lowering the cost of living, Mr Thossaporn said.
