Russian baby killed in crash

A nine-month-old Russian baby was killed and his mother critically injured when two motorcycles collided on Koh Phangan.

The accident occurred on a road behind the Pha Ngan district police station in Surat Thani. Reports said that the 26-year-old woman was carrying her child in front of her in a baby carrier when her motorcycle was struck by another bike. The baby died within minutes.

The mother, identified only by the surname Antonova, sustained a shattered collarbone and a broken left arm and was also traumatised by the loss of her son. She is currently receiving treatment at Bangkok Hospital Samui, Channel 3 said on its website.

    Disc 2,
Perhaps eye witness described the driver to the police?
Whoever it was, I hope they lock up this animal and throw away the key.
    RIP little one.
