Another opportunity for the authorities to ask for more budget to buy more useless high-tech equipments.

    .

I guess, " Let by gone, Be by gone " may NOT be applicable here.

The organizer, whoever that be, may be sued and may get a court order to pay for a BIG sum, which the drivers may not even think to be able to pay.

Not a lesson, but that's how they do to enforce the common sense in the real world.

D6. I tried that once! My wife, 3 year old daughter and I were un ceremonially dumped at the side of the Hua Hin - Bangkok road.

A challenge on a van drivers skills is seen as an affront to his manhood. You have been warned.....

Van drivers are some of the worst I have seen in the environs of Pattaya. Speeding with no regard for other road users with continual lane changing with no indication merely to gain 2 seconds. How do these drivers get a licence, if indeed they actually have one?

Why didn't any of these estemed triple A personality pro golfers slap the driver in the back of the head and get him to slow down?

Drivers here are like Neanderthals with technology in their hands. Just like the opening scene of 2001 Space Odyssey with the apes in the desert going berserk when they see that slab of space technology.

Not stopping @ red lights & reckless driving are metaphors for the futility of law & education curriculum here...

the van driver wants to impress his golfer passengers...

Not a surprise at all, shocking the quality of driving here in Thailand (especially van/bus drivers). But then again, without having to take any real kind of driving test, what can you expect.

Van driver was "driving on the highway pretty fast and at times maybe to ruff !! Van drivers again! Nobody is listening again! I think Embassey's should highlight that the use of vans (minibuses) in Thailand can seriously damage your health!

Travelling bumper to bumper with no gap in between vehicles and no brain in driver.
