Authorities declared Narathiwat a disaster zone late Thursday evening after almost the entire area of this southern province was hit by flooding triggered by four consecutive days of heavy rains.

Every disaster is an opportunity for the government to demonstrate that it cares for the people.

I sincerely hope the PT government will put in their best effort to assist those affected - especially medical care, sanitation, rebuilding of homes and businesses...etc.

Show the people in the south that we are one big family.
