The Meteorological Department has urged eligible voters in the capital to exercise their voting rights in Sunday's Bangkok governor election early during the day as about 60% of Bangkok will likely face rainfall later in the afternoon.
Meteorological Department deputy director-general Somchai Baimuang said a cold front has moved down from the North to the Central Plains, including Bangkok and nearby provinces, and it will bring strong winds and heavy rain in some areas later during the day.
Mr Somchai said people who planned to vote in the Bangkok governor election might want to vote in the morning or early afternoon to avoid rain.
