@Disc 71 - You are correct if you try to talk anything negative about Mr. T infront of a group of red supporters, you will most likely be beat up. They will accuse you of making things up too. A lot of people still refuse to believe the ex-pm tax evasion charges and asset concealment cases.

barny - correct. And they even try on these boards. And if they don't succeed on these boards, they try with personal messages.

The polls were wrong because of fear. The reds have used aggression and retribution as their tools to gain control. My wife was asked by reds to and fro from voting place who she was going to vote for. Of course she lied. Whenever I talk about the dude in Dubai with hushed whispers and it's been that way since 2000. I doubt that this will even be posted because of fear.

hugo - when you say elite, do you mean Thaksin and Yingluck? You're either very naive or willfully ......? And do you see any pressure from PAD during this election? You assume because reds try to control the PTP that PAD must control Democrats. Not true.

englishbob 54 - "So? The official count says Sukhumbhand kicked PT's ass."

"Exit polls have historically and throughout the world been used as a check against and rough indicator of the degree of election fraud. Some examples of this include the Venezuelan recall referendum, 2004, and the Ukrainian presidential election, 2004." - wikipedia

"[Sukhumbhand] also called on the Election Commission to inspect the exit polls after they gave Pol Gen Pongsapat a slender victory." - above

Embarrassing for two polling companies wouldn't you think?
just goes to show Suan Dusit,Abac Poll must count chicken feet, instead of people!
Who owns & finances their companies?
The Bangkok people should view all their future polls with sceptisism!

Congrats Bangkok. You made the right choice.

To AV & the Dems : This is possibly your last chance to get your act together so use your brains!

To PTP : Ha ha...you lost! Now pack your red garbage and get the hell outta dodge.

And finally, the price for the least intelligent comment so far (no. of comments 65) goes to D58!!!

Also, honestly, I do not undertstand the reason for so many enthusiastic comments. Self-proclaimed "democrats" have been governing Bkk for many years and what results have they achieved? Only failures. Under their rule the Thai capital hasn't done anything but consolidating its aspect of polluted, dirty, chaotic metropolis which kept over-growing without any urbanistic plan. What are you expecting from another PAD-led government? Many of you hate seeing Thailand as a feudal country, but what is Bkk if not a feudal city ruled always by the same elite?

What were his election promises again? Let's see if he does what he promised. Congratulations to both Sukhumbhand and Yingluck for comments directed to one another after the result was known, it will be great to see if they can both work together for the better of Bangkok.

"seems like always the same small bunch of people"

Yes, the red trolls unfortunately exist.
