Bangkok voted negative for the P.T. It is time that the P.T and the reds apologised to the people of Bangkok for the shabby way in which they treated and burnt the beautiful city. The PM sings a different song today, but she knows the evil deeds orchestrated by her loving brother and the 3 red leaders. Yes Pongsapat got a million votes too but, remember he was P.T's BEST card - and he failed. I fear that large numbers across the country who once supported the P.T would also be changing their mind after the bad show put up by the government. The sole objective being to whitewash Thaksin of all crimes.

Hello Road Runner Printers, please cancel the order business cards for Jatuporn Prompan. No, not the ones that read Co Leader and KhowYai Concert Manager. Cancel the ones for Deputy Bangkok Governor and Fire Safety Inspector. Nope, no need to keep his artwork , this is history now.

Congratulations to khun Sukhumband for his re-election! Hard times to come for him, as Thaksin and his followers won't easily digest this defeat, but he has the intelligence, and 'the shoulders' to do it. May this be an opportunity for those among the Dems who are in favour of truth and honesty to help him introduce the concept of ethics in politics, because there is the future! Amen

Most amazing and astonishing that 1.07 million voted for a low level policeman belonging to the Pheu Thai Party that supports a red-shirt movement that held the city and the country hostage for 2 months in 2010 with violence, 92 dead people and burning the city. Amazing Bangkok.

A landslide victory for the democracy against the dictatorship. Maybe it is hope for our Kingdom after all ...

Let me be the first to congratulate K Sukhumbhand on his victory...

And I wait with baited breath for the Red Shirtist's excuses... Perhaps only rich elitists can afford umbrellas.

Congratulations to the Democrats. That was a BIG victory. Now where are all those red who have been gloating about their upcoming victory for the last few weeks.

We shall see if any of the talk from the PM and the newly elected Governor rings true.
