Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra arrived at Sweden on Monday at the start of a three-day visit to northwestern Europe.

Ms Yingluck was invited to Stockholm by Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. The last time a Thai prime minister visited Sweden was nine years ago, by former premier Thaksin Shinawatra.

Ms Yingluck will also visit Belgium and the European Union headquarters in Brussels. She is accompanied by key cabinet members, senior officials and CEOs from prominent Thai enterprises.

Come on now guys. She just got her butt beat in the BKK election. Every woman I know goes on a shopping frenzy after they lose. On the other side of the coin, she has to do something that even resembles productivity and the best place for that is where we can not see how she stumbles around like a lost sheep.

What is she doing in Sweden? London, Paris and Milan are where the shoppers in the know head for. She'll probably end up buying a volvo and some poor quality shelves.
