B9m stolen from bank van

CHIANG MAI : Police are questioning three men in connection with the disappearance of nine million baht from a Krungthai Bank cash delivery van parked at the bank's Mae Rim branch on Wednesday.

The three - Preecha Thongpan, Shidpong Utthayarn and Nattawut Sang Udom - told police they were travelling in the van, which was carrying 27 million baht to fill up Krungthai’s ATMs in the Mae Rim area Wednesday morning.

The cash delivery van was operated by Krung Thai General Business Services Co, a subsidiary of Krung Thai Bank Pcl.

Haha, 3 bags of 3m Baht each lost when being taken care by 3 security guards (nobody else has the key to the Vault), what a convenient computation and good numbers too (3-3-3). If I still know how to count, it will be mmm... 1 bag each? Not too much to carry away and hide it. I wonder how many years holiday from the security job can be, with 3m Baht in the pocket? No bad at all.... provided they can get away with it.

They left the van with 27 million baht in it to go eat. Top notch security.

Please mental illness. The court will let them off with no jail time. Worked in the Mercedes Killer Case.

Nine Million Baht divided by three. We do not need a calculator to do this.

that's 9000 individual bank notes minimum (that's assuming the stolen notes are all 1000's which is pretty unlikely)... that's likely a literal heap of money and hard to steal / conceal or otherwise.
Greed, stupidity or both is most likely to cause these people to spend a long time in jail because either way they are bang to rights here
