Militants attack students in deep South

A 15-year-old boy was injured when four suspected militants on two motorcycles fired multiple shots at a playground in Narathiwat's Sungai Padi district on Friday night, police said.

Pol Col Wutthipong Yenjit, superintendent of Sungai Padi police station, said the attack occurred at about 8pm when about 10 students were playing basketball at the playground.

    Totally agree with you. Unfortunately the "tree huggers" will ensure sanctions imposed by our worlds policeman, the good old US of a for merely suggesting we are going to get tough with these criminals in our own country. I fear that world society has already passed the "basket case" stage and cry for the children, because of what WE have made this world into for them

    This will not stop peacefully. The Holy Book has two options, show the other cheek or an eye for an eye. Providing terrorists' families with compensation for a lost terrorist is counter productive? In the old days the Bangkok Jusmag interrogators had pictures of family members of the subjects they interrogated and made clear that if anything happened in "their area", it would had repercussions for their family members. It did had the desired results. An eye for an eye is also a proven deterrent.
