Lawyer blames SMRT for accident

The lawyer for a Thai double-amputee who lost both of her legs after she was hit by a train in Singapore has blamed a lack of safety precautions at a Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) station for the accident.

    Sorry for her tragic accident, but that is the risk. Its like you fell on to the road and got hit by a car, are you going to sue the government? or the driver? I do think the SMRT insurance should cover her medical cost for the rest of her life.
