Student arrested on Furby scam

SAMUT PRAKAN – Police have arrested a 27-year-old university student on charges connected to online fraud involving Furby dolls sold under stolen identities.

Sasipapha Huadthong was apprehended at a dormitory in Bang Phli district, Pol Maj Gen Chanut Thanataweerat, deputy chief of the Provincial Police Region 1, said on Monday.

Three identity cards belonging to Gingkaew Wongtao, Vilairat Sittiprapha and Angkana sae Chua and several ATM cards were found and seized as evidence.
