The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has set up a panel to look into the procurement of GT200 and Alpha 6 bomb-detectors by 13 state agencies.
The inquiry, headed by NACC member Wichai Wiwitsewee, follows a review of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI)'s findings forwarded to the commission in July last year, fellow member Wicha Mahakhun said yesterday.
The DSI found that procurement of the controversial GT200 and Alpha 6 bomb detectors involved three illegal acts _ inflated prices, fraud and price collusion.
