Diesel tax exemption extended again

The cabinet has extended the term of the diesel excise tax reduction of 0.005 baht per litre for another month, until April 30, government spokesman Thossaporn Sereerak said on Tuesday.

The diesel excise tax reduction was set to end on March 31.

The tax waiver on the fuel is aimed lowering the cost of living, Mr Thossaporn said.
