Steve Jobs in town - sort of

The icon behind the creation of iPhones, iPads and iPods has come to Bangkok - as a wax figure.

As of Tuesday, the late Steve Jobs was rubbing shoulders with other famous people like Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso and Silp Bhirasri, founder of Silpakorn University. Jobs will grace Madame Tussauds Bangkok for three months, the operators of the museum said.

    Seriously, How pathetic & vile can one get to honor a wax statue?

    There is a moral dichotomy, metaphor, & contradiction illustrated in the photo above that depicts today's Thai passive, suppressed, boastful , infeority complexed youth and mis guided young adults..

    I agree Steve Jobs had revolution and create some communication tools that millions of people use everyday.
    Saying that,it is really stupid to "wai" his statue.He's not a prophet,not a good.Worst,because of products he created,millions of Thai people spent 2 or 3 times of their salary to buy them.Instead of spending that money to study,to learn,to get better healthcare,in order to improve their knowledge and life.Pay respect to people invented medicine to cure the malaria,to people invented the micro-credit to help poor people building their first business,to people that sacrifice their life to protect the nation,would be better.

    perhaps the creative and admired billionaire , could help to create jobs for the deluded humble northern and southern folks, his generosity to humanitarism, is a good lesson to other billionaire
