POLICE STATION ROW
PCC Development and Construction Co is threatening to go to the Administrative Court if the National Police Office (NPO) terminates its contract with the company to construct 396 police stations.
The firm is entitled to receive another 600 days in the contract's maximum extension period, Pol Lt Col Santhana Prayoonrat, an adviser to the project's sole contractor, said yesterday.
If this is granted at the end of the present 30-day extension, which ends tomorrow, the first 10 police stations would be finished within six to eight months, the former deputy Crime Suppression Division chief said.
