Soldier injured by bomb in Narathiwat

An army ranger was injured by a bomb explosion on Monday in Sungai Padi district of Narathiwat province while he was waiting for the bomb disposal unit to examine a site where an anti-peace signs was put up, a report said.

Squad leader Lt Tohgraisak Rodgantook, of the 48th Ranger Regiment, was taken to Sungai Padi Hospital after the bomb was detonated only five metres away from him.
