Two men were taken in for questioning after a combined team of rangers and police searched a house in Narathiwat's Rangae district on Tuesday morning and found two motorcycles and materials for making bombs.

The team, acting under the emergency decree, raided house No 33 in Moo 1 of tambon Bongo on information that Abdulkahim Pute, a suspect wanted under a warrant in a security-related case, was hiding there.

The search team found two men - Maparik Uma, 35, and Ahama Late, 27 - in the house.
