The Supreme Court will on Aug 6 deliver its final ruling on charges brought against five people, including former Bangkok governor Apirak Kosayodhin, in the 2004 Bangkok City Hall purchase of firetrucks and boats case.
The date was set after two state witnesses testified before the court in relation to state procurement procedures. The court has instructed counsel for the plaintiff and the defendant to give their closing statements on July 30.
The National Anti-Corruption Commission in July 2011 filed a lawsuit against five people including ex-Bangkok governor Apirak Kosayodhin over procurement of firetrucks and boats by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in 2004.
