About two-thirds of people in the Northeast polled recently said the white-mask rallies against government are unacceptable, but even more disagreed with the red-shirts’ rallies against their rival protesters and the Democrats, according to E-Saan Poll.

The E-Saan Centre for Business and Economic Research at Khon Kaen University, or E-Saan Poll, said opinions were sought from 1,205 people in 20 provinces in the Northeast between June 21 and 23.

The provinces were Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Mahasarakham, Roi Et, Kalasin, Nong Khai, Chaiyaphum, Loei, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Nakhon Phanom, Nong Bua Lamphu, Surin, Buri Ram, Si Sa Ket, Sakon Nakhon, Mukdahan, Yosothon, Amnatcharoen and Buengkhan.
