Witit plans legal action against GPO board, govt over sacking

Ex-director wants B31m compo, criminal charges

Former Government Pharmaceutical Organisation managing director Witit Artavatkun plans to sue the GPO board, Public Health Minister Pradit Sinthawanarong and the cabinet for unlawful dismissal. 

Dr Witit is expected to file a lawsuit with the Administrative Court next week, seeking 31 million baht in compensation, a source close to him said yesterday.

The ex-GPO boss decided to seek justice in court after gathering enough evidence to take action, the source said.
