Thai ambassadors and consul-generals based in Southeast Asian countries will meet Thai provincial governors next week to discuss the country's readiness regarding establishing the Asean Community (AC) in 2015.
Ambassadors and consul-generals will have a preliminary meeting on Sunday and Monday, then meet the governors and private sector delegates on Tuesday and Wednesday. Both meetings will be held in Bangkok.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra will chair the second meeting.
