The second Canadian suspect wanted by US authorities in connection with boiler room stock fraud has been detained, police said on Tuesday.
Gregory Curry, 63, was arrested at a house in Prachin Buri's Kabin Buri district Tuesday morning, Charoen Srisasalak, deputy chief of the Metropolitan Police Bureau's Division 2, said.
The other suspect, Sandy Winick, 55, was arrested on Monday at an apartment in Bangkok. Mr Winick and Mr Curry are among nine Canadians and Americans indicted by the US Attorney's Office on charges of cheating investors in about 35 countries out over US$140 million (about 4.2 billion baht).
