Warrants have been issued for the arrest of two Thai women who drugged a Japanese engineer before making off with cash and other items worth a combined 20,000 baht.
Police found Keichi Yamamoto, 29, lying unconscious last Sunday at a bus stop on the Pathum Thani-Bang Pa-in road in Pathum Thani. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators said the victim had had dinner with two Thai women at a restaurant in Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok, and that he was drugged shortly afterward.
