The government will not use force to disperse the protesters blocking both the Asian Highway and southern railway line in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Prime Minister's deputy secretary-general Suporn Atthawong said on Tuesday.
He said state officials were holding talks with the rubber growers’ representatives, asking the protesters to allow traffic to pass through their blockade of the highway and the southern rail line.
