Protest shooting suspect identified

Police have a name and will apply to the court for an arrest warrant for the main suspect in the shooting of two rubber protesters in Nakhon Si Thammarat on Sunday, Thai Rath online reported. 

Pol Gen Rachot Yensuang, in charge of the investigation into the incident in which a protest guard was killed and another wounded on Sunday.

He was speaking after visiting Sithisak Jai-ngam, 25, the wounded guard, at an intensive care unit of Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital, the report said.
