A court has acquitted a man whose own brother accused him of defaming His Majesty the King.

The judgement, read out in the Bangkok Criminal Court on Friday, said there was not enough evidence to convict Yuthapoom Martnok of lese majeste, which is punishable by up to 15 years in jail.

His brother Thanawat was his only accuser, and other relatives had said Yuthapoom never insulted the monarch.
