One of five suspected poachers who killed two forestry officials and seriously injured two others in a gunfight on Thursday night in Um-Phang Wildlife Sanctuary in Tak province was apprehended yesterday.
An exchange of gunfire in the sanctuary also left one suspect dead.
A task force of 200 officials was sent into the reserve to track the remaining poachers. After 17 hours, they caught Kanueng Saema, 65.
