The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has indicted Natural Resources and Environment Minister Wichet Kasemthongsri for allegedly violating the anti-corruption law.

Commissioner Klanarong Chanthik yesterday said the agency had uncovered that Mr Wichet's wife Waniphan held more than 5% of the shares in a private company and the minister had failed to inform the NACC about it within 30 days from taking up his post as minister.

The practice breached the Management of Partnership Stakes and Shares of Ministers Act, Mr Klanarong said.
