Smaller school class sizes urged

The number of students per classroom at schools should be limited to 35 to maintain education quality, Prawit Erawan, dean of Mahasarakham University's education faculty said. 

The university recently surveyed 300 schools in the Northeast to assess the quality of education.

It found the size of classroom, especially at prestigious and competitive schools, has been expanded to include as many as 55-60 students.
