A man wanted for involvement in the bombing of a train in Narathiwat's Rueso district last year was killed in a raid on a house in Rueso district early Monday, reports said.

Three combined units of the Narathiwat Task Force 30 and 49th Rangers Company raided house No 1 in Bucho Bongo village of tambon Sawo about 1.25am, acting on a report Abdulloh Buraheng, 30, was in hiding there.

Abdulloh was a suspect in the bombing of Yala-Sungai Kolok train No 453 at kilometre marker 1075 on Nov 18, 2012.  The explosion caused the train to derail.  A defence volunteer, Panakorn Chumkaew, was killed, and 16 other people were seriously injured.
