Two soldiers providing security for teachers were killed, while two others and three civilians were injured, when a road bomb was detonated in Krong Pinang district of Yala on Wednesday morning, reports said.

Soldiers from Task force 13 were patrolling along a local road at Moo 3, tambon Sa-eh of Krong Pinang when the bomb exploded. The truck they were travelling was overturned and totally wrecked by the explosion.
