CHINA PREMIER'S VISIT
Thailand and China will outline plans for their long-term strategic partnership during the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang's visit tomorrow.
Mr Li will visit Thailand on an official three-day visit, his first since he was elected premier last March. His visit to Thailand is part of a Southeast Asian trip which also takes in Brunei and Vietnam.
East Asia Department deputy director-general Rommanee Kananuruk said the Chinese visit is significant. A source said Thailand and China will discuss ways to cooperate and talk about long-term plans to develop their relationship in politics, economics, security, transport, culture, education, tourism, science and technology.
