NAKHON SAWAN : Water management engineers have warned the government against rushing to complete the 350-billion-baht flood prevention scheme.
A pride of peacocks is spotted at the Mae Rewa forest protection unit in Mae Wong national park in Nakhon Sawan. The forest area, covering 12,000 rai, will be flooded if the proposed Mae Wong dam project goes ahead. THANARAK KHOONTON
The warning comes as the government today kicks off a series of public hearings on the scheme.
