Pulo, BIPP to join peace talks

- +

Representatives of two other separatist groups - the Pattani United Liberation Organisation (Pulo) and the Barisan Islam Pembebasan Pattani (BIPP) - are expected to join the next round of peace talks in Malaysia, Deputy Prime Minister Pracha Promnok said.

Pol Gen Pracha said he had been informed of this by the Malaysian facilitator of the talks, Ahmad Zamzamin Hashim, who recently called on him.

The Malaysian facilitator said Pulo and BIPP would each send representatives to attend the next round of talks between the Thai delegation and the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN), expected to be held in early December in Malaysia.
