Pink line bid awaits new government

- +

The bidding for the construction of the Pink Line electric rail route from Khae Rai to Min Buri will be deferred until the new government is installed so that parliamentary backing can be secured.

Mass Rapid Transit Authority governor Yongsit Rojsrikul said yesterday the construction plan was previously set to be tabled for cabinet consideration, with bidding in February.

But as the House of Representatives has been dissolved, the next government will consider the plan and bids could be called by the middle of next year instead, Mr Yongsit said.
