Reds won't march in Bangkok, South

The red-shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship on Tuesday announced it will stage nationwide counter-rallies ― but not in the southern provinces or Greater Bangkok ― on Jan 13, when the People's Democratic Reform Committee will begin its mass protest to shut down the capital.

Caretaker Deputy Commerce Minister and red-shirt co-leader Nattawut Saikuar made the announcement at a  meeting of more than 5,000 UDD key leaders and supporters from across the country  at Chalerm Phra Kiat Stadium in Muang district of Nakhon Ratchasima province on Tuesday.
