Court rejects P.Thai candidates' case

The Supreme Administrative Court has refused to consider the petitions by 29 Pheu Thai candidates who could not register for the election because of the protests by supporters of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee in the South. 

The court said it has no jurisdiction in the matter.

Pheu Thai candidates in 29 constituencies from eight southern provinces had asked the Supreme Administrative Court to order the Election Commission to re-open venues to allow them to register.
