Less than half of the people in Bangkok say they will definitely vote in the Feb 2 election, if it goes ahead, according to a Suan Dusit Poll survey published on Friday afternoon.
The pollsters at Suan Dusit Rajabhat University interviewed 1,484 people in Bangkok and nearby provinces between Jan 20 and 24.
Asked if the Feb 2 election should go ahead, 37.34% of respondents said the general election should be carried out and that the result must be respected by all sides of the political divide. But 24.03% disagreed, arguing that the polls should take place only after the current political conflict is settled.
