Six street cleaners working for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration were wounded, two of them seriously, by a bomb explosion on the median strip on Ratchadamnoen Avenue near Phan Fa bridge late Monday morning, reports said.
The explosion reportedly occurred about 11.30am while the BMA employees were cleaning the median strip on Ratchadamnoen Avenue near Pom Mahakan Fort. It was not known what kind of bomb exploded.
Two workers, a man and a woman, were seriously wounded. Four others were slightly injured.
