PDRC: Govt won't retake strongholds

- +

The People's Democratic Reform Committee will definitely not let the government retake Government House, the Interior Ministry and its five strongholds - Ratchaprasong, Pathumwan, Lumpini, Asok and Chaeng Wattana, PDRC spokesman Akanat Promphan declared on Tuesday.

Mr Akanat said Government House, in particular, would be sealed off to prevent caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra returning to her official offices.

He called on the Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order to explain why police resorted to violence to retake Phan Fah Bridge by using tear gas and weapons, causing many injuries.
