PAERN plans to sue over site shutdown

People’s Army and Energy Reform Network (PAERN) leaders have been granted bail and are planning to sue authorities for breaking up their protest site at PTT Group headquarters last Tuesday. 

Rawee: Protesters didn’t resist police

PAERN said their protester rights were violated by the Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO), which sent riot police forces to dismantle the site. The civil court on Wednesday ruled that authorities cannot disperse anti-government protesters.
